Drive Growth and Innovation in Transaction Banking

This permanent, full-time role offers a unique opportunity to serve as a key member of our transaction banking specialists team based in Melbourne.

* Contribute to the development of tailored working capital solutions for large corporate, government, and institutional clients.
* Serve clients to innovate and revolutionise their customer interactions and deliver working capital and operational efficiencies.

About this Role:

* Originate new transaction banking mandates and retain strategic clients by leveraging strong relationships with treasurers and c-suite executives.
* Lead client deal teams to respond to transaction banking tender and proposal requests.
* Work closely with relationship coverage teams to develop and maintain client plans for key targets, identifying opportunities and client engagement strategies.
* Analyse, structure, and negotiate deal opportunities to ensure optimal outcomes for clients and Transaction Banking Solutions.

We're interested in hearing from individuals with:

* A commitment to building on a strong foundation of transactional banking experience, business development, or solution consulting experience.
* A self-starter mindset with a track record of achieving revenue targets through effective collaboration and negotiation skills.
* A knowledge of transaction banking products and services, including working capital, cash flow, payments, and merchant solutions.
* A proven ability to build and leverage relationships across an organisation to drive business objectives.
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to build strong rapport with clients and colleagues.
* A client-centric mindset focused on understanding and meeting client needs.
* A risk-conscious approach, aligning with CommBank's expectations.
