Description About the role: As a senior team member, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of data initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes. This role acts as the bridge between the data delivery team and technology, data operations and capabilities teams ensuring seamless coordination and timely resolution of challenges. You will understand data development methodologies and work closely with technical leads to ensure adherence to technical standards and support continuous improvement in the delivery of data services. Key Responsibilities: Successfully manage, measure and report the timely delivery of data solutions to projects, programs and value-streams. Ensure that deliverables are of high quality and meet the intended business outcomes. Ensure high quality delivery including planning, execution, stakeholder management, dependency management and operational risk management (delivered and delivery). Collaborate with the Data strategy and capabilities teams and program delivery resources (including Project Managers and Program Directors) to manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables and dependencies. Provide direction and leadership to data delivery resources, which may include data engineers, data analysts, data governance analysts and other technical roles. Ensure that team members are clear on their tasks and objectives. Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution for delivery resources. Facilitate effective communication between the delivery team, the Senior Leader, Data Strategy & Capabilities, technical leads and business stakeholders ensuring that everyone is aligned on priorities and progress. Ensure that all development, data management and security standards and procedures are adhered to during delivery. Work with technical leads to ensure that any technical challenges of delivery are addressed promptly. About you: You have proven experience in leading a team of skilled professionals to work together to deliver data products meeting high standards, ensuring delivery pipelines are executed in an agile, efficient and scalable manner. You are an effective communicator and work collaboratively with the Data Strategy & Capabilities team to ensure the alignment of delivery to business value, design standards and development practices. Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and skills in project management techniques, tools and methodologies covering all phases of project life cycle, ideally in a data-related field. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is highly desirable. Ability to manage and align expectations of multiple stakeholders encompassing technical, business and senior management. Proven experience leading teams, including cross-functional or technical teams. Ability to motivate and guide teams, resolve conflicts and manage performance. Solid understanding of cloud and data technologies, including familiarity with data warehousing, ETL, data migration and analytical tools. Awareness of data management, governance and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Works effectively within a team environment and fosters positive relationships with team members and stakeholders. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools including JIRA and Confluence.
