A prominent community-focused organisation is undertaking a targeted project to improve how the public accesses their critical services. Focused on social impact, they are reviewing their digital channels to ensure those in need can easily understand their eligibility for support.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead the review and redesign of key "Eligibility" sections of the website. You will collaborate with technical teams, external integrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure complex criteria are transformed into a user-centric and accessible experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and examine existing content to make recommendations that improve the UX of eligibility checkers and information pages.
* Create a new Information Architecture (IA) that places user needs at the centre of the eligibility process.
* Advocate for design changes and provide advice to Subject Matter Experts and other key internal stakeholders.
* Work with the ICT Team and external technical partners to implement suggested changes and ensure feasibility.
* Provide guidance to copywriters and content professionals on user experience best practice.
* Provide advice to the team on required user testing to validate new designs.
To be successful, your CV must emphasise the following:
* Demonstrated Senior UX Design experience, specifically in simplifying complex information architecture.
* Experience working with large-scale technical vendors or consultancies to implement design changes.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advocate for user needs to non-technical experts.
* Ability to work autonomously on a brief-specific project with hard deadlines.
* Availability to interview mid-January and commence early February 2026.
Desirable:
* Experience in the social services or Government Departments.
* Background in content strategy or working closely with content designers
