Delivering high-quality education and training is at the forefront of this role as a Lecturer in Sport and Fitness. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering training programs to students in this field.
The primary focus of the role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess, and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements.
This position requires candidates with experience and expertise in Sport and or Fitness. Relevant industry/vocational or lecturing experience (minimum of 5 years) and relevant vocational qualifications and/or competencies are essential.
* Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness (or equivalent)
* Certificate IV in Sport and Recreation (or equivalent)
NM TAFE prefers lecturers to hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE 40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110 and additional skill sets referred to in Schedule 1, Item 2 of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.
Candidates who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials can still apply. However, NM TAFE will require the successful candidate to enroll in an approved training and assessment credential and record satisfactory progress to complete it within two years from commencement.
