Overview
Supply/Warehouse Officer to manage inventory and materials for a major energy organisation in Darwin.
Contract
- 3-month contract (adaptable over Christmas or work through if preferred)
- Very reputable, government-owned organisation in the energy sector
- Salary: $42–$56ph + super + penalties
- Engagement dates: 20/10/2025 – 09/01/2026
Key responsibilities
- Support day-to-day management and preservation of material inventory
- Issue, receipt, return, and inspect items using the inventory system
- Conduct regular and annual stocktakes to ensure accuracy
- Maintain material catalogue and assist with inventory improvements
- Ensure stock levels meet operational requirements while minimising excess
- Maintain assets, materials, and warehouse facilities
- Dispose of obsolete items following approved processes
- Support the Business Services team and complete ad-hoc tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or supply experience
- Understanding of materials handling and OHS in industrial environments
- Proficiency with inventory systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Time management and organisational skills in a changing environment
- Current NT Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence
Desirable
- Hazardous and dangerous goods training
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Pronto) and electronic records management
- Certificate-level qualifications in Supply Chain or equivalent experience
