Responsibilities
* Provide senior technical leadership and accountability for geospatial data engineering delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and schedule outcomes
* Own end-to-end performance of geospatial dataflows, including ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery to downstream systems
* Lead the design and implementation of enterprise geospatial dataflows using tools such as Apache NiFi and FME
* Develop and manage complex geospatial ETL workflows, data models, and embedded data quality controls
* Act as a technical escalation point, driving root cause analysis and resolution of complex data and pipeline issues
* Drive continuous improvement, governance alignment, documentation, and mentoring to uplift team capability and engineering practices
What You'll Bring To Make An Impact
* Extensive experience in data engineering, delivering enterprise-scale dataflows and integration solutions
* Strong background in geospatial or spatiotemporal data within enterprise environments
* Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable, automated data pipelines
* Expertise in data integration tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, FME), SQL, data modelling, and performance optimisation
* Proficiency in scripting/programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell) with accountability for data quality in regulated environments
* Strong stakeholder communication, professional judgement, and commitment to continuous improvement in secure or high-compliance settings
