What role will you play?
In this role as a Security Architect, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to provide security advice and define security architectures for business initiatives and projects. Partnering with technical delivery teams, you will work with technologies including but not limited to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), container orchestration and automation tools and help drive the secure evolution of the organisation. You will also review Macquarie’s security capabilities and provide recommendations to uplift our security capability landscape.
What You Offer
10+ years’ experience in technical design and architecture roles and 7+ years security experience in large enterprisesCurrent or previous experience in configuring, operating, designing and architecting security solutions for business and technology initiativesFamiliarity and experience in formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/designFamiliarity with SABSA, NIST 800-53, Open FAIR, MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND, threat modelling and related methodologies or frameworksDemonstrable experience working with public cloud (AWS and/or GCP), containers, Kubernetes and related technologiesExperience with security engineering, API security, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automation, and application development valuableFamiliarity working within an Agile environmentSound understanding of vendor technologies and roadmaps, and remains current with key IT industry themes and emerging trends.
