APS 6 Duties: Interpreting, drafting and reviewing policy and/or program documents for review and publication. Preparing draft reports, briefing papers, speeches, Ministerial Correspondence for review by Executive level employees. Conducting research and analysis in support of new policy and/or programs. Providing advice on specialist areas of policy and/or programs. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, representing the work area and participating in committees and forums in relation to policy development and/or programs. EL 1 Duties: Provide leadership and supervision to achieve Branch and Group outcomes and the agencies broader strategic directions for its stakeholders, providers and partners. Facilitate and/or lead the development and implementation of initiatives including identifying innovative ways of improvement. Oversee the program and project development activities in the branch Promote and effectively manage strategic relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders and service providers, promoting the Branch business objectives through key strategic relationships Monitor and report on the performance branch outputs and projects, against key performance indicators and quality metrics. Develop branch risk management plans using the Risk Management Framework. Monitor risks and mitigate emerging risk and realised issues via effective policy and process. Prepare, review or delegate creation of reports, briefs or any other documents required by the Director, senior executive team, Agency governance committees and its advisory committees.
