They have the opening for a Demand Planner located at their head office in western Sydney.Your New RoleYou will ensure Demand plans are robust through exceptional stakeholder engagement to support the delivery of their customer commitments for business partners. You will provide process and plan development through robust analysis and insights supporting initiatives.Drive the strategic priorities for the Demand team and communicate and identify and engage key stakeholders to achieve overall business objectivesReview marketplace, customer and historical data to provide key insights and analysis at a national level, including modelling and analysis from a bottom up and top down level.Provide strong commercial rigour to forecast assumptions including insights to business partners on market, share, brand performance and supplyReview demand forecasts nationally to ensure forecasts accurately reflect sales consensusDrive simplification of systems and processes through continuous improvement initiativesBuild on IT solutions to ensure the business critical volume forecasting and reporting is supportedWhat you will need to be successfulAbility to build strong, constructive relationships across a number of cross functional stakeholdersAbility to work through high levels of ambiguity and complexityStrong action orientation and self as cause mindset to deliver outcomes in tight timeframesHighly analyticAbility to manage projects and programs through effective change managementDegree qualification in a relevant discipline, including Finance, Operations or LogisticsSound post Graduate experience in similar capacity, preferably in a FMCG Commercial environmentExperience in developing and implementing engagement plansLeading and implementing changeDelivering system and process continuous improvement initiativesCommunicating change to a broad range of stakeholders to align and engageSupported cross functional project or initiativeWhat you will get in returnThis is initially a temporary position lasting approximately six months, paying $60ph depending on experience.What you need to do nextIf you meet the criteria above and can start immediately, please send your resume to hannah.alexander@hays.com.au or call Hannah Alexander on 02 8860 1643.
