Career Mentor Role Overview
This part-time position involves facilitating group sessions on employability and life skills, providing one-on-one mentoring, connecting young people with job opportunities, and collaborating with employers and community organisations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering interactive workshops focused on employability and life skills development
* Providing tailored support and guidance to program participants
* Identifying and connecting young people with suitable employment opportunities
* Building relationships with local businesses and community groups to facilitate job placements
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent qualification, experience in program facilitation, and demonstrated expertise in youth work or employment support services.
