What your day will look like….
You'll move seamlessly between guiding a committed multidisciplinary team and delivering specialist care to women and families. Your time will be spent providing expert oversight of clinical services, consulting with inpatients and outpatients, and performing a range of obstetric and gynaecological procedures. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across departments, mentor and support junior doctors, and contribute to education, research and clinical governance activities. Alongside your Co-Director, you'll shape the department's culture, manage key operational functions, and strengthen service delivery across Toowoomba Hospital and surrounding facilities—ensuring high-quality, safe and compassionate care is always at the forefront.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $381,337 (L18) up to $476,304 (L27) comprising salary rates between $103.79 (L18) and $131.60 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, career development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
