Employment Coach - Full time ongoing (may accommodate part-time hours of 32 hours per week). The role will be based at the Victor Harbor site. You'll be supported by a team of coaches, mentors and counsellors.
Employment Coach offers comprehensive training and support to achieve a Certificate IV in Community Services after successfully completing probation.
Key Responsibilities
Employment Coach is a dynamic and rewarding position. You will play a key role in assisting our customers to set and achieve their goals while meeting the contractual requirements of an employment service provider.
Your day-to-day can include the following:
* Assisting diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges
* Delivering coaching to improve employability skills, confidence and career planning
* Preparing quality resumes, cover letters and supporting the job application process
* Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf
* Referring customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health and financial counselling
* Providing additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment
Documenting customer information and progress accurately within Workskil Australia and government systems.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs
* Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
