Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, organize, direct, and control daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service and hospitality.
* Coordinate and supervise staff activities to maintain smooth workflow, promote teamwork, and foster a positive working environment.
* Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize profitability through cost control in areas such as staffing, inventory, and procurement.
* Oversee stock levels and ordering of food, beverages, equipment, and supplies to ensure effective inventory control and supplier relationships.
* Manage reservations, customer service standards, and complaint resolution to provide a consistently high-quality dining experience.
* Liaise with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and kitchen operations, including menu updates and quality control.
* Promote and market the business through various channels to increase patronage and grow the customer base.
* Recruit, train, and develop staff members, including onboarding, rostering, performance evaluations, and addressing any performance issues.
* Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, food safety, hygiene, and liquor licensing regulations at all times.
Requirements & Skills:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
* Minimum Bachelor of Business or related field.
* Proven track record of driving revenue growth and enhancing the customer experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Available to work over weekends, public holidays, and special days.
* Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required.
