Employment Type: Permanent Full Time (open to Part time as well)

Hours per Fortnight: 80

Classification: (ZF4-ZJ4) or (SC31-SC34) or (VW6-VW9) or (VG3-VG6) or (VB7-VC1)

About the role:

The Safety, Quality & Experience Coordinator (Aged Care/NDIS & Cultural Safety) is primarily responsible for the coordination of safety, quality, risk and innovation activities across clinical divisions specifically related to provision of Aged Care and NDIS services.

In addition, this role also works closely with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Team to embed culturally safe care at GV Health. In taking the functions of the Quality, Risk and Innovation Unit to the forefront of patient care, this role supports all staff to understand their department's safety, quality and consumer experience performance and associated opportunities for improvement.

The incumbent will partnership with senior clinical leaders to continuously improve the safety and quality services and in turn improve consumer and staff experience.

Successful candidate will have:

- A commitment to GV Health values: Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork and Ethical Behaviour
- Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (or equivalent)
- Significant postgraduate experience
- Experience in Accreditation, Root Cause Analysis or clinical review process and working with consumers & stakeholders in complaints management.
- Experience in Aged Care services.
- Able to work with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
