Situated in the heart of Leederville, Robert's on Oxford is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, outstanding service, and delightful drinks. Our mission is to ensure every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience, offering live music, a variety of beers and cocktails, delicious pub grub, premium coffee, and a welcoming courtyard with a private bar. We are currently looking for bartenders and a manager to join our crew due to current staff visa obligations to obtain regional work.
**Manager Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily bar operations with a practical and customer-focused approach.
- Ensure smooth service flow and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Lead a team of bartenders with clarity and focus on delivering quality service.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and issues with common-sense solutions.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless execution of service, functions, and bookings.
- Manage functions and bookings to ensure everything runs smoothly and resolve any issues promptly.
- Open and close the premises, ensuring everything is ready for service and securely locked at the end of the day.
- Perform bartender tasks as needed, including serving drinks, preparing cocktails, and maintaining venue cleanliness and organisation.
**Requirements**:
- Proven previous experience in a similar role and venue required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Well-presented with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure under pressure.
- Sound judgment and practical decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- RSA / Approved Manager's Card (or willing to obtain).
- Excellent English, both verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 6 months commitment.
- Own transport recommended due to late night finishes.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
