Equipment Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at an esteemed organization.
This role forms part of a dynamic maintenance team and is responsible for ensuring complex equipment is operational, supporting client needs effectively.
* Maintenance of PhotonAssayTM units, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and software aspects.
* Scheduled monthly maintenance, as well as prompt responses to breakdowns to minimize downtime and maximize availability.
* Generating detailed reports on maintenance and repairs completed.
* Providing technical support services via telephone, email, and remote computer login for troubleshooting and performance checks during and outside of office hours, as agreed.
* Training clients on safe operation and basic troubleshooting of the equipment.
* Monitoring system performance and offering engineering solutions to enhance design and operational efficiency within PhotonAssayTM units.
* Testing equipment for performance and compliance with safety regulations.
* Supervising contractors and managing upgrades or repairs, ensuring adherence to all engineering specifications and protocols.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes associated with PhotonAssayTM system maintenance.
* Supporting the installation and commissioning of new installations.
* Spares inventory management and record keeping on site.
* Supporting the development of a strong safety culture, adhering to health and safety policies, procedures, hazard reporting, and safe work practices.
About You
To succeed in this position, you will have:
* Demonstrated experience in maintaining technical equipment.
* A commitment to prioritizing safety.
* Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
* The ability and willingness to travel and work within Australia, including remote locations such as mine sites.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Citizenship rights in Australia.
* A current Driver's License.
* Familiarity with office productivity software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
