What you'll be doing
The Children's Hospital at Westmead has a fantastic opportunity for Undergraduates to work as Assistants in Nursing commencing December 2025 on a casual basis.
We are seeking applications from students enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing who are in their final year in 2026. You will have the opportunity to work in various wards throughout the hospital assisting the nursing team in day to day care of our paediatric patients.
As an Assistant in Nursing you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of quality individualised care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse within the guidelines set by the NSW Department of Health, the National Registration Board (AHPRA), and The Children's Hospital at Westmead - Division of Nursing.
