About the Role
As a Senior Government Sales Executive, you will be a thought leader and trusted partner to clients seeking to transform their operations. You will deliver innovative software solutions that simplify complexity, streamline services, boost efficiencies, and enable governments to make informed decisions through AI-driven automation—all critical to the NSW, VIC, and QLD Government Digital Transformation agenda.
Responsibilities
* Expand into new departments and develop business opportunities within the existing customer base.
* Leverage industry expertise to advise clients on maximizing technology adoption for operational benefits.
* Drive new business through prospecting and pipeline development using diverse strategies.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders across State Government/Public Sector Departments.
* Collaborate with our client's Ecosystem to deliver value-driven solutions to government agencies.
* Develop strategic insights to contribute to the success of the state government team.
* Provide thought leadership that challenges conventional practices and introduces new solutions for enhanced citizen services.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience in direct enterprise software sales.
* Proven track record in State Government/Public Sector sales.
* Consistent quota achievement with a stable and progressive sales career.
* Strong expertise in account management, business expansion, and pipeline development.
* Knowledge of BPA, DPA, RPA, CRM, and Case Management software solutions.
* Experience working with large partner organizations in the ecosystem.
* Formal sales training with a strong process-oriented approach.
* History of challenging and improving business processes for clients.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
