About The Role

You will work as a part of a team of CPD Auditors to complete Engineers Australia's annual audit program, informing your team leader and colleagues of progress on a regular basis. You will complete a caseload of assigned audits in accordance with Engineers Australia's Policies and Procedures. The caseload will vary from time to time.

Location: This is a hybrid role that can be based from any of our offices around Australia!

In This Role You Will

* You will be responsible for completing an assigned caseload, this includes: undertaking individual reviews of submissions, providing feedback on submissions, and managing individual submissions through to an outcome.
* Undertaking CPD audits for Engineers Australia Members, and for state-based registration bodies.
* Use sound judgement to manage multiple tasks; articulate and focus on balancing key priorities including quality outcomes and team workloads.
* When necessary, directly liaising with engineers to resolve issues with their CPD submissions.
* Working with other teams within Engineers Australia, including the Chartered and Registration Assessor teams, as well as the Quality Management and Professional Standards teams.
* Participate in professional development activities, including maintaining your own CPEng/NER/RPEQ credentials.
* Contribute to assessment team efficiency, consistency and service delivery, including administrative work related to assessments.
* Provide professional and timely feedback to technical enquiries, quality assurance checks and corrective actions.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding assessments and procedures.
* Contribute to the development, management, and implementation of procedures/processes for the team.
* Undertake other professional audit, assessment and review tasks, as assigned.

Here's What We're Looking For

* You will have a recognised engineering qualification, or a qualification deemed by Engineers Australia to be equivalent.
* You will have a minimum of 15 years post-graduate engineering work experience at the Professional Engineering level.
* You have obtained a Chartered Engineering credential (CPEng/CEngT/CEngA). Holding EngExec and/or FIEAust would be highly regarded, but not required.
* You will have highly developed computer, analytical and communication skills both written and oral, with the capacity to assess applications and make objective decisions.
* You will be sensitive to cross‐cultural differences with a proven ability to liaise both professionally and effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
* You will have experience working autonomously with limited supervision.
* You will do well in this role if you have sound knowledge of information and document management systems.
