Maintenance Leader
Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced maintenance leader to spearhead maintenance operations for our client in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
This pivotal leadership role will see you drive team performance, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the reliability and safety of plant equipment in a high-performance steel manufacturing environment.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled maintenance team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
* Drive strategic initiatives to optimize maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment reliability.
* Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to align maintenance strategies with production goals.
* Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems, heavy machinery, and production equipment.
* Manage resources, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in maintenance leadership within steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and rotating equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and implement process improvements in a high-performance environment.
* Familiarity with CMMS and lean maintenance practices.
