Australian General Engineering is a leading sheet metal and general fabrication business located in Mordialloc Victoria servicing multiple sectors in both the private and government sectors.
Our continued growth has created a vacancy for 2 experienced Aluminium and Stainless Tig welders. If you are competent in other materials, this would be advantageous.
About the role
The vacancies are all permanent full time positions.
Day and Afternoon shift positions available.
Immediate start is preferable but flexible
Benefits and perks
Hours are somewhat flexible with start times of 6am or 7am to 2:30pm or 3:30pm for day shift and afternoon shift from start times are 2:30 or 3:30pm to 11:30pm and only to 7pm on Fridays
The best part of this job is working with a great bunch of people using state of the art Fronius Welding Machines, clean and modern workshop, excellent ventilation and extraction and lots over overtime and weekend work available.
Skills and experience
To be considered for these positions, you must be able to meet the following criteria:
* Have a stable work history
* Posses a minimum of 3 years aluminium and staniless welding experience
* Be able to read and understand drawings
* Have a high level of respect for your work and quality
* Proven track record of reliability and attendance
* Located in Melbourne and have the right to work in Australia
* Work well in a team and respect your fellow workers
