**The opportunity**
We are looking for Consultants to join our growing team in Sydney. Drawing on your technical knowledge gained from your education or experience in industry, you will advise and support our clients in accessing R&D; tax incentives, government grants and other innovation related government incentives.
You will engage with technology-active companies to understand their development objectives and drivers, analysing complex project information to assess eligibility for the R&D; tax incentive and other government grant programs.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Advise and support clients in accessing government grants and tax incentives to support their R&D; and innovation processes
- Analysing complex project information to assess eligibility for government support
- Preparing detailed summaries of our client's research and development activities in the science and technological fields
- Provide R&D; tax advice and expertise to a range of technology-active and innovative companies across multiple industries
**Skills and attributes for success**
**To qualify for the role you must have**
- Genuine interest in business, innovation and technology
- Business and technical writing skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to articulate complex information to a range of stakeholders will be key
- Strong relationship builder with excellent influencing and questioning skills
- Problem solving skills and ability to work with complex and detailed information
- Ability to analyse numerical data in excel
- A curious mindset and the ability to work with ambiguity to help shape and form an opinion
- Tertiary qualified in Science (including physical sciences, geology, metallurgy, environmental sciences, maths, or biotech/ biomed), Information Technology Engineering, Commerce, or Law
- Applicants with combined qualifications in Commerce/ Law and a Science or technical discipline, and those with Master's or PhD level qualifications, will be considered favourably

- Some work experience in a business or academic environment
