Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, guiding, and mentoring students in campus classrooms, workshops, and/or the workplace environment.
This role involves developing and delivering VET teaching and assessment programs that meet industry standards and requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* You have a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology and at least 5 years of relevant post-trade experience in the Automotive industry.
* You hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor, or equivalent qualification, and have demonstrated relevant working experience covering the specific areas of the current Automotive Retail, Service and Repair (AUR) Training Package.
* You have relevant experience in training with a focus on the context of the Light Vehicle and/or Heavy Vehicle Trade, and can demonstrate an understanding of Competency-Based Training and Workplace Assessment.
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with learners, industry stakeholders, and other professionals.
* You are a team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues, recognising individual strengths and utilising cooperative approaches.
