About The Role
Manager – Business Advisory & Tax at RSM Albury. We are looking for an experienced accounting professional ready to make a meaningful impact in a close‐knit regional practice with national backing. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients across Albury–Wodonga and the surrounding regions, working with businesses that span agriculture, manufacturing, professional services, health, not‐for‐profit and privately owned enterprises. Your responsibilities include overseeing client engagements, reviewing financial and tax outcomes, and providing practical, value‐driven advice that supports long‐term success. You will also be a key contributor to our collaborative office culture, helping manage workflows and supporting the development of our people in a hands‐on, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage team workflows to ensure high‐quality, timely client deliverables
* Review financial statements and work papers, ensuring compliance with accounting, tax and regulatory requirements
* Provide practical, commercially focused advice tailored to regional and cross‐border client needs
* Review income tax returns for individuals, companies, superannuation funds, partnerships and trusts
* Develop financial models to support investment, growth and succession planning decisions
* Identify risks and opportunities within clients' industries and local market conditions
* Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering technical capability and confidence
* Build and maintain strong, long‐term client relationships within the Albury–Wodonga community
* Share knowledge and best practices to strengthen team capability
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of information within firm systems
* Contribute to your own professional development and the broader success of the office

Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting
* CA qualification (or equivalent)
* 5–7 years' experience in professional services, with prior experience managing or mentoring staff
* Demonstrated ability to deliver high‐quality advisory services and manage client relationships
