Job Opportunity: Human Resources Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our organization in an exciting role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall function of the Human Resources department, acting as a point of contact and support for team members of all levels.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support and Advise Managers: Provide expert guidance and support to managers on policies and procedures, ensuring effective implementation and adherence.
* Liaise with HR Stakeholders: Collaborate with the Area Director of Human Resources Queensland on key HR matters, fostering strong relationships and promoting a cohesive approach to human resources management.
* Manage Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues in a confidential and professional manner, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and capability development.
* Succession Planning: Work closely with senior managers to develop and implement succession planning strategies during the bi-annual appraisal process, ensuring continuity and excellence in leadership.
Requirements:
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Human Resources role, with a proven track record of success in industrial relations and legislative compliance.
* Industrial Relations Expertise: Strong knowledge of Australian legislation and regulations, with the ability to apply this expertise in a practical and strategic manner.
* Talent Management: Extensive background in team member engagement, recruitment, and learning and development activities, with a focus on driving business results and improving employee satisfaction.
