Due to continued growth, we are looking for a refrigeration technician with experience on commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Ammonia or Co2 system experience would be an advantage but not essential. We are more than happy to provide training in industrial refrigeration for the right candidate.
Role Description
This is a full time role for an Industrial Refrigeration Technician, based in Thomastown, VIC. The Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing maintenance and repair services for industrial refrigeration systems. The role will also require working on HVAC systems and ensuring that all work complies with safety and regulatory standards while addressing client needs efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
* Experience with Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of industrial refrigeration systems.
* A sound understanding of Ammonia refrigeration.
* Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical and mechanical issues effectively.
* Solid understanding of electrical systems relevant to refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
* Strong safety awareness and a comprehensive understanding of relevant safety and compliance regulations.
* Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Refrigeration Mechanic Trade Certification or equivalent qualification.
* Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel within the service area as needed.
