They believe in leading with both head and heart and giving their people every opportunity to thrive.About the RoleReporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with Journey Beyond's corporate HR teams (which include IR support, recruitment and workforce planning), this is a pivotal role in shaping Cruise Whitsundays' people and culture journey.You'll be both a strategic leader and a hands-on coach—visible across the business and deeply connected to the people on the ground.
From workforce planning and engagement initiatives to leadership coaching, recruitment, and involvement in EA negotiations, you'll support and influence every part of the employee experience.You'll lead a small, capable team (two HR Advisors) and have a dotted-line connection to the GM, HR Operations at the corporate level.

You thrive in dynamic, people-first environments and understand that great cultures are built through connection, trust, and action.You'll bring:At least 5 years' experience in a HR Business Partner or Manager role, ideally in a fast-paced operational settingStrong interpersonal and coaching skills, with the confidence to guide, support, and influence across all levelsHigh energy, great communication skills, and a visible leadership style that builds trust and engagementA willingness to be vulnerable and collaborate openly with a down-to-earth leadership teamExperience with workforce planning, enterprise agreements, and industrial relations (or the willingness to learn with support)You're someone who knows the policies but leads with people.
