We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Specialist to support our sales efforts in Sydney.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Foster a commitment to excellence while promoting a customer-centric environment.
* Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to align with client needs and project requirements.
* Conduct in-person meetings with potential clients to understand their needs, present our solutions, and support clients in their upcoming projects.
* Schedule regular client visits to provide training, maintain strong relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and confirm any products are displayed to company standards.
* Network and engage in cold-calling activities to grow our client base and identify new opportunities.
* Build and manage a sales pipeline by prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting opportunities.
* Set, quote, and negotiate prices and terms with clients, ensuring optimal value for both parties.
* Collaborate with account and tender coordinators to enhance client management and streamline project coordination.
* Execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and strategically position us within the market.
* Maintain accurate sales records and customer interactions using CRM tools.
* Provide regular reports to highlight key metrics and progress.
Requirements
