Selection Criteria

Role
Working closely with Principal and Executive Leadership providing assistance and support in all areas covering all Department and School requirements, strictly adhering to policy and ensuring all necessary compliance and regulatory expectations are achieved.
Range 4 is distinguished by providing expertise and/or professional leadership dealing with more complex issues requiring specialised support, the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services.
The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field. It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration and operations.
Direction on targets and goals is provided but the position will have some degree of latitude in determining how they are achieved.
Coordinate delivery of a range of support services across a school/s involving a range of work areas.
Management assistance to all executive leadership across multiple campuses to achieve expected outcomes and smooth operations is a key responsibility.
Responsibilities
1. Provide high level support to the principal, assistant principals and the business manager.
2. Assist the Principal and Executive Leadership in all matters relating to school operations.
3. School council approval paperwork and co-ordination.
4. Provide support to school events.
5. Attend all meetings, school council and committees assisting where needed, take minutes, co-ordinate and distribute all follow-up requirements, timetables etc.
6. Dairy management and coordination of meetings.
7. Set up and organisation of internal team meetings.
8. Able to work with new systems and pick these up with ease.
9. Updating and implementation of policies and procedures.
10. Accuracy and high attention to detail when reviewing complex documentation and completion of these.
11. Liaising with the external providers as required.
12. Ability to build strong internal relationships.
13. As this is a varied role and working with the wider team, there will be a variety of adhoc tasks that arise within this role.
14. Develop and maintain accurate records of all staff, department and day to day running of a busy multi campus school.
15. Utilise Compass/email to communicate with staff, families and the broader school community.
16. Be present in the general office daily and available to assist and co-ordinate daily functions and manage schedule for Principal and Executive Leadership as required.
17. Other duties that may be required by the principal staff and the Business Manager.
Communications
1. Inform the community of events and activities through social media, newsletters and Compass.
2. Produce, co-ordinate and distribute annual Yearbook.
3. Distribute Compass notifications as required.
4. Assist with event/excursion planning and resource collection as required.
5. As an education support staff member, the range of duties may be expanded in the future in accordance with the ES Level 1, Range 4 general duties.

Location Profile
Warringa Park School is a specialist school located in Hoppers Crossing. The school population is drawn from the City of Wyndham and caters for students aged 5 to18 years who have a diagnosed intellectual disability ranging from mild to profound. Warringa Park is a P-12 school organised around the three stages of learning - the lower, middle and upper years. The Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) is offered in the later years. Our school currently has an enrolment of 704 students situated over four campuses. Our Cayleys Road Campus, located in Werribee South, holds our Year 10-12 VPC students as well as a flexible learning program for our Year 7-12 students. A year 7 to 9 campus is situated on the grounds of The Grange P-12 College in Bethany Rd. Our new campus located at Polly Parade Tarneit opened in 2023 and caters for our foundation and lower primary students from Prep to Grade 3.
