The Opportunity
Cleveland Gardens Retirement Living is home to 200+ units & apartments. In this resident-facing role, you will work collaboratively with residents to coordinate daily activities, events and services for residents throughout the village. You will spend your day motivating, engaging and enabling residents to participate in a wide range of experiences including physical, social and community-orientated activities. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 9.30-5.30

Your Impact
* Coordinate and deliver fun, inclusive and exciting events to our residents on a regular schedule (e.g. daily happy hours, shopping trips, school visits and more)
* Deliver a holistic activities program that promotes independence, learning new hobbies and enabling social connections
* Create schedules for all new events and distribute newsletters highlighting upcoming events
* Be the welcoming face to all new residents in the community by ensuring they are engaged and supported in their transition to our community.
* Complete general ad-hoc duties including (but not limited to): conducting feedback surveys, attending staff meetings, participating in events and general administrative tasks
What you will bring
* A genuine interest in improving the lives of seniors
* Previous experience in coordinating programs, events or activities
* Be creative - we want someone to create FUN events
* Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (highly desired)
* Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (required or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
