Classification - RN/M2C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife LV2 - $87,416 to $110,497 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits.
Employment: Full time - Term Contract (temporary until 26 Dec 2025)
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through WCHN across South Australia, offering care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS services include:
Triage of mental health difficulties
Comprehensive mental health assessment
Individual and family therapy
Group programmes
Information provision to parents/carers and key partners such as schools, GPs, hospitals, government and nongovernment organisations
The Opportunity offers exciting opportunities within CAMHS Connect to join as a CAMHS Clinician on a full-time basis, in a temporary capacity until 26 Dec 2025.
In This Role, You Will
Provide clinical expertise for children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues.
Participate in monitoring client care plans and clinical review programmes/audits to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Collaborate with consumers in developing individual care/treatment plans using a recovery framework.
Promote access and equity of services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

About You
As a Clinician with mental health experience, you will contribute reflectively, systemically, and dynamically to team activities, aiming to offer children, young people, and families an experience of being understood, supported, and contained as they navigate further mental health care.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
Registration as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) with a current practicing certificate. Enrolled in an approved mental health course or holding a mental health qualification.
At least 3 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse.
Ability to conduct complex mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents.
Experience in developing mental health care plans collaboratively with colleagues, consumers, and families.
Skills in problem solving, negotiation, conflict management, and working reflectively under pressure.
