* Provide high level support and advice on operational capability issues specific to the delivery of departmental and government business requirements.
* Provide independent advice and support to senior management on a wide range of strategic and confidential issues, including the implementation of policy programs, departmental and whole of government priorities and operational issues.
* Develop and coordinate the preparation of regular management reporting frameworks in accordance with departmental and whole of government performance and capability reporting requirements.
* Manage the implementation and monitoring of strategic and operational outcomes and oversee the development and implementation of business strategies, departmental and government governance requirements and cabinet and legislative requirements.
* Lead all aspects of the secretariat functions and provide high level confidential support and advice to the senior leadership team.
