Role Overview
This role is critical to maintaining, enhancing, and securing the SDO SAP systems to ensure ongoing reliability and compliance. This includes onboarding new agencies, managing system upgrades, and enabling security compliance across SAP BTP, HPE GreenLake, and hybrid environments.
This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP BASIS, SAP BTP, infrastructure design, cloud migration, and security compliance (including IRAP and ANAO audits) within ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Management and Maintenance
* Manage and maintain SDO SAP systems (ECC6, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, ERP, PI, Fiori, GRC, etc.), BTP services (Integration Suite, Build Apps, Launchpad, Document Management, etc.), and HPE GreenLake HANA Enterprise Cloud.
* Execute regular upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and monitoring to ensure system stability and security.
* Configure destinations, connectivity, and extensions for integration with SAP On-Premise and other applications.
2. Integration and Automation
* Lead system setup and integration within HPE GreenLake and BTP environments.
* Automate deployments using BTP CLI, CF CLI, and Git.
3. Identity and Security Management
* Configure, troubleshoot, and administer OpenText solutions including Content Server, Web Services, and Archive Centre.
* Manage SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), including cloud identity solutions.
* Strengthen security posture through GRC adoption, audit compliance, and development of system configuration and security documentation (SRMP, SSP, IRAP).
4. Operational Support and Collaboration
* Provide operational support for major incidents.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology initiatives, system integrations, disaster recovery planning, and end-user support.
5. Knowledge Sharing and Capability Uplift
* Share knowledge, mentor team members, and uplift technical capability through documentation and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Skills and Capabilities
* AP Expertise: 10+ years in SAP BASIS administration (NetWeaver, S/4HANA, HANA DB) with proven experience in managing SAP modules (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, ERP, Fiori, GRC, Portal, BusinessObjects, Solution Manager, PI, IDM, etc.).
* SAP BTP & Cloud: Demonstrated experience in SAP BTP administration (Cockpit, subaccounts, entitlements, services), HPE GreenLake, SAP Cloud Connector, and hybrid landscape integration.
* Infrastructure & Security: Expertise in SFTP, SAP Router, load balancers, firewalls, certificate lifecycle management, and Identity & Access Management (SAP IAS, SSO) with compliance to Australian government standards (ISM, PSPF, IRAP, ANAO).
* Cloud & DevOps: Strong understanding of Cloud Foundry, Cloud Neo, cloud-native concepts (containers, microservices), and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools).
* Performance & Migration: Skilled in database and performance management, system upgrades, migrations, and ERP technical delivery (configuration, integration, data migration).
* Third-Party & Integration Tools: Experience with OpenText solutions, admin tools, and third-party components (e.g., Sinch).
