Overview
We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager to join our team in Dooen, VIC to lead the way in optimising inventory levels across all storage facilities, including warehouses, department sheds, and production facilities.

Key responsibilities
- Facilitate the storage of products in depot sheds and/or on-farm storage as instructed by the Senior Grower Liaison and National Purchasing Manager
- Maintain storage facilities according to prescribed standards to safeguard product integrity via inspections
- Manage the weighbridge at our production sites and enter/finalise all stock movements
- Ensure all stock movements align with company SOPs to maintain accurate data to reflect actual stock levels
- Work alongside the QA team to optimise stock consumption and movements for production
- Coordinate regular stock takes for financial and sales reporting purposes
- Oversee inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking and recording of stock levels across all locations
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimise stock discrepancies and optimise storage efficiency
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts
- Collaborate with procurement, production and sales teams to forecast inventory requirements and manage stock replenishment
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and cost-saving opportunities
- Train and supervise inventory staff, promoting best practices in inventory management
- Manage and update inventory software and systems
- Prepare inventory reports, including stock levels, turnover rates, and key metrics for management review
What we seek
- Strong leadership aptitudes
- Strong coordination, planning, and organisational aptitudes
- High-level competency in inventory or accounting management software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated proficiency in negotiation
- Knowledge of Warehouse Operations
- Proven track record in a similar position within a manufacturing or supply chain setting
- Possession of requisite licenses and certifications relevant to the role
