Goal Indigenous Services We are seeking a highly skilled Work Health & Safety Officer in East Arm, Darwin for a well-established leader in the marine & remediation industry.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of workplace health & safety across the marine operations & collaborating closely with the paint & blast teams to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Provide training and guidance to staff to promote a proactive safety culture.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
Required 3-5 years' experience in a Work Health & Safety role.
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum requirement).
Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Current driver's licence and have reliable transport.
Experience in marine &/or remediation environments is highly regarded.
