Mercer Rectification Analyst
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer as a Rectification Analyst working in either our Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
* Lead incident rectification activities including root cause investigation, customer impact assessment, and remediation planning and execution.
* Collaborate closely with Incident Managers and stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, GSD, Trustee Office, Product, Transformation, and Technology teams to ensure effective incident resolution.
* Support accurate breach and investigation reporting to regulators and internal stakeholders.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of preventive measures and enhanced controls to reduce future operational errors.
* Assist with peer review, coaching, and continuous improvement of rectification processes within the Incidents Team.
What you need to have:
* Relevant experience in incident management or rectification within a financial services or regulated environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate root causes and assess customer and fund impacts.
* Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment focused on compliance and operational risk.

* Experience working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance systems such as FRANK.
* Knowledge of superannuation or insurance products and related regulatory frameworks.
* Demonstrated ability to coach and support team members for continuous process improvement.
