About the Role As the PCADS Manager, you will lead the operations, growth, and development of the Pilbara/Kimberley Community Alcohol and Drug Service (PCADS).
You'll oversee service delivery across Karratha, Newman, and surrounding towns, ensuring the service meets all contractual, cultural, and clinical requirements.
You'll support a high-performing team, drive quality improvement, and work closely with the Regional Manager and key stakeholders to strengthen AOD responses across the region.
This is a leadership role with broad operational responsibility, strategic input, community engagement, and hands-on management.
What's on Offer $110,****** base + super + $20,****** regional allowance per annum Full-time – 38 hours per week (Mon-Fri) Generous salary packaging up to $15,****** per year Professional development, leadership support and ongoing supervision Relocation assistance offered Free, confidential counselling for staff and their families Work alongside strong regional partnerships and multidisciplinary teams Shape outcomes for communities across the Pilbara/Kimberley Travel opportunities within the region to support PCADS initiatives A culturally secure and community-focused work environment You'll Need A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Health, Education, Social Science, Youth Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Allied Health, or Behavioural/Social Sciences OR extensive experience (5–9+ years) in a related field Strong cultural knowledge, skills and networks Demonstrated experience managing operational systems in health or community services Experience leading teams, including recruitment, supervision, performance management and team development Ability to plan, allocate and manage resources to meet funding deliverables A proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships across community, government, and service stakeholders High-level verbal and written communication skills Advanced administrative and computer skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage complex or challenging situations Knowledge of quality improvement, data systems, risk management, and policy implementation Important To apply, you must have the right to work in Australia.
