Drill Controller Job Description
Selecting how often to receive an alert is part of this role. At Fortescue Iron Bridge, located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal People, you'll work in a FIFO schedule from Perth, alternating between 8 days and 6 days off, then 7 nights and 7 days off.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operating drill fleets
* Executing drill planning
* Maintaining communication with maintainers and field personnel
* Recording data
* Uploading files
Job Requirements:
You should thrive in fast-paced environments and be adaptable. To excel in this role, you'll need experience with Flanders drilling systems, previous Mine Controller experience, a strong background in manned drilling operations, and ability to multitask under pressure.
