We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Engineer with a strong academic background to join our research team. This is a permanent position that comes with PhD sponsorship, focusing on the electrical and control subsystems of wind turbines.
The selected candidate will collaborate with our Advanced Wind Energy Technology Group to develop high-fidelity digital twin models of these components, supporting energy harvesting optimization and advanced control design.
* Conduct advanced research on wind turbine generators, inverter-load controllers, and power electronic systems, as well as battery energy storage systems integration and management.
* Develop and implement digital twin models for real-time system understanding and optimization of energy capture, design algorithms to improve system efficiency, and responsiveness to dynamic conditions.
* Work closely with academic and industry partners throughout the project lifecycle, publishing research findings and contributing to technical documentation and reporting.
