Ventia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Defence Team, focusing on efficient planning, resourcing, work order progression, monitoring, and performance reporting.
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. The applicant must be an Australian Citizen.

What you will be doing:
* Planning ADF network maintenance, programmed maintenance, and operational activities
* Recording maintenance plans in the Commonwealth Mandated Information System
* Using the system for work order management, scheduling, parts requisitioning, and management
* Liaising with Defence for weekly, monthly, and annual planning
* Communicating regularly with team members, Defence personnel, and external clients
* Identifying initiatives and recommending improvements to maintenance practices
* Compiling reports and addressing non-conformances with corrective actions
* Performing process audits and developing safety and efficiency improvements
About you:
* Experience in planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance in complex industrial environments (essential)
* Ability to maintain accurate records and reports within information systems (essential)
* Proactive approach to safety and teamwork (essential)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) (essential)
* Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills (essential)
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills (essential)
* Trade or tertiary qualification in mechanical or engineering fields (highly desirable)
* Qualification in planning, scheduling, or related fields (highly desirable)
* Knowledge of SAP (highly desirable)
* Current Australian driver's license (class C)
