Occupational Health and Safety Lead Position
This role is a high-impact opportunity to shape a strong, proactive safety culture across diverse sites. As the HSE Lead, you will work closely with the Head of HSE to deliver customer-focused solutions that genuinely make a difference.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Partnering with managers to develop and implement WHS strategies aligned with business objectives
* Overseeing key WHS areas including incident investigation, corrective actions, Workers' Compensation, and site inspections
* Developing and updating WHS policies, procedures, and programs to meet organisational and legislative requirements
* Providing expert advice and interpretation of WHS policies and practices to leaders across the business
* Driving strategic WHS improvements through research, solution development, and system enhancements
* Leading, coaching, and influencing staff at all levels to embed a strong WHS culture and model safe behaviours
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements for this position include:
* A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
* Experience using HSE management software and tools for data collection and analysis
* Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance
