Legal Support Role in APAC
The Legal Support role is a critical position that provides assistance to the Senior Counsel for APAC, while also supporting legal teams in the UK and EU.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate customer contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
* Advise on compliance with data security and privacy laws, including SOCI, Privacy Act, and APRA, to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
* Conduct thorough legal research to provide accurate and timely advice.
* Assist with corporate governance to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
* Admission as a lawyer in Australia.
* 1-3 years of post-admission experience in commercial law, preferably within the tech industry.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
