The Role
We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at Maryborough. As a leader, you will ensure operations are safe and efficient, delivering a high-quality service to our customers.
This role is hands-on and dynamic, requiring someone who can manage people and processes to deliver results across multiple sites.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead a team to achieve safe and compliant operations across two facilities.
* Enhance equipment and machine processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Oversee logistics and workflow management to ensure smooth stock control.
* Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting on production metrics.
* Ensure product quality meets standards and oversee audits.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for operational enhancements.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
About You
* Proven experience in operations or supervisory roles, preferably in processing, manufacturing or waste management environments.
* Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate a diverse team in fast-paced settings.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with hands-on approach to resolving operational challenges.
* Commitment to safety and compliance, with experience conducting safety briefings and managing incident reports.
* Effective communication skills, engaging with team members and handling customer inquiries professionally.
