About the Role
As Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of daily store operations and profitability, ensuring all departments run efficiently while maintaining our high standards of service and presentation. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to both results and people.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding customer service with a strong community focus
* Drive sales growth and improve gross profit and EBITA
* Manage ordering, stock levels, and markdowns to minimise wastage and shrinkage
* Lead and support a high-performing team across all departments
* Monitor wage costs and ensure rosters align with business needs and customer demand
* Maintain top-tier merchandising and store presentation standards
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations
* Provide ongoing mentoring, training, and performance development for staff
What You Bring
* Minimum 3 years of supermarket or retail management experience (fresh department experience highly desirable)
* A people-first approach – approachable, supportive, and team-oriented
* Strategic thinking with strong planning and organisational skills
