About the Role
We are seeking a full-time, permanent Housing Officer to join our Specialist Disability Housing Program. In this role, you will:
* Deliver tenancy and property management services for people with disability (support allocations, sign-ups, inspections, and rent management).
* Manage complex tenancies in line with legislation and NDIS standards.
* Build strong relationships with tenants, families, and support networks to support person-centred outcomes.
* Identify and manage tenancy and safeguarding risks to ensure safe and stable housing.
* Contribute to strengthening our disability housing expertise.
About You
You are an experienced housing or real estate professional with strong tenancy management skills and an interest or growing experience in disability housing. You understand how tenancy management, support services and funding frameworks work together to support stable housing outcomes. You are willing to develop your knowledge of Specialist Disability Accomodation (SDA), the NDIS and South Australian tenancy legislation, and apply a person-centred approach that respects tenant rights, choice and control. You build positive, respectful relationships with tenants, families, guardians, support coordinators and service providers, and use sound judgement to manage risk, compliance and complex tenancy matters. Organised and proactive, you maintain accurate records, contribute to continuous improvement, and are committed to delivering safe, stable and inclusive housing outcomes for people with disability.

* Experience managing residential tenancies, ideally within social, community or regulated housing environments.
* Experience supporting people with disability using a person-centred approach that promotes choice, dignity, safeguarding and participation in housing decisions.
* Sound understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks, including South Australian Residential Tenancies legislation, SACAT processes, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) requirements and the NDIS Practice Standards (or willingness to develop).
* Sound judgement in managing complex tenancy matters, including shared living arrangements, behavioural or safeguarding concerns, and appropriate escalation to support safe and sustainable tenancies.
* Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong relationships with tenants, families, guardians and support providers.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, including accurate record keeping, reporting, and adherence to legislative and organisational compliance requirements.
