For over 30 years, we've specialised in restoring domestic and commercial properties affected by fire, storm, flood, impact, and malicious damage. Our dynamic and experienced team navigates the complexities of the insurance repair process to deliver professional, accessible, and comprehensive building services across Australia.
We are now looking for a Construction Manager to lead, mentor, and inspire our estimating and delivery teams in Victoria. This is a hands‑on role, overseeing multiple projects – small, medium, and large domestic and commercial construction repairs – ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and mentor the construction team to deliver detailed scopes of work and accurate budgets for tenders.
* Oversee project scheduling and manage multiple site teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
* Drive WHS and safety compliance across all projects in collaboration with the BBS WHS team.
* Manage contractors and suppliers to meet company standards, purchase orders, and compliance requirements.
* Ensure projects remain profitable while delivering exceptional customer service.
* Collaborate closely with the State Operations Manager and company Directors on project strategy and delivery.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience managing construction teams and multiple projects.
* Solid background in medium to large domestic and commercial construction repairs.
* Strong experience in estimating, budget management, and delivering building repairs.
* Confidence managing stakeholders, including property owners, clients, and insurers.
* Ability to juggle competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, WHS requirements, permits, and inspections.
* Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
* Understanding of relevant Building Codes and Australian Standards.
