Speech Pathologist Job Opportunity
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at The Child Development Hub.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary degree qualification in Speech Pathology and current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
They will have experience working with children and their families, as well as a high level of oral and written communication skills.
A passion for working with children and their families is essential, along with a calm, positive, and empathic approach at all times.
Responsibilities:
* Assess infants and children with a range of presentations using standardized assessments.
* Identify each child's strengths and challenges and provide goal-oriented targeted intervention to support their individual needs.
* Empower families to support their loved ones' communication development through education, resources, and ongoing support throughout the therapy process.
* Manage a paediatric caseload and ensure accurate and concise documentation including client record keeping and report writing.
Qualifications & Skills:
The successful candidate will possess:
* Tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Speech Pathology as recognized by Speech Pathology Australia.
* Current Speech Pathology Australia registration.
* Experience working with children and their families preferred.
* Understanding of goal-oriented family-centred evidence-informed practices.
* High level of oral and written communication skills commitment to working within a team.
