About the role
LC TRUCKING PTY LTD is seeking experienced HC / MC Truck drivers to join our growing team in Melbourne, VIC. This full-time position offers the opportunity to play a key role in our road transport operations, delivering goods across the region. As an HC / MC Truck driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of a variety of cargo to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate heavy combination (HC) and multi combination (MC) vehicles to transport goods
* Plan and execute delivery routes, ensuring cargo is delivered on time and in excellent condition
* Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any issues
* Adhere to all relevant road rules, transport regulations and company policies
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driving hours and vehicle maintenance
Requirements
* Valid HC or MC driver's licence with a clean driving record
* Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy commercial or medium commercial vehicles
* Knowledge of load restraint and transport regulations
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to safety and attention to detail
* Experience loading Precast Concrete Panels on A frames and general construction materials
* Australian citizenship required for this position
* Must have maintained a clean driving record for a minimum of 2 years
