Seeking a qualified and experienced WHS Management Consultant to drive compliance, strengthen safety culture, and lead a dedicated WHS team. The consultant will work closely with the Executive Manager People and Safety, the Leadership Team, and the WHS team to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and foster a positive safety culture.
About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will :
Provide strategic WHS advice and reporting to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian standards, and codes of practice.
Mentor and support an internal WHS team of three staff.
Assist with performance metrics and workload coordination.
Essential Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in WHS (Diploma or Degree).
Proven experience in WHS management roles, ideally with exposure to quarry operations.
WHS Auditor qualification and / or experience in audit and compliance.
Current Class C Driver's Licence and White Card.
Desirable
Membership eligibility with the Safety Institute of Australia.
Knowledge of Local Government WHS practices and frameworks.
