Profectus is seeking experienced .NET Developers with Maui/Xamarin expertise to support a major Australian Government agency in delivering its FY2026-27 Digital Identity Program of Work. This is an opportunity to contribute to nationally significant digital infrastructure, working within multidisciplinary agile teams alongside APS staff and other vendor partners. The agency operates a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery model, and all personnel will be expected to work collaboratively in blended teams to deliver against Program Increment commitments.
Key RequirementsDevelop backend web services to enable the Agency's Digital Identity Services projectMobile User Interface design, including familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Android's Material DesignCross-platform app development, preferably using Xamarin Native and C#Experience with Objective-C/Swift/Java/KotlinApplication security and identity management, preferably with experience relating to OpenID and JWTsProfiling memory use in native applicationsIntegrating with RESTful APIs using HTTP, including RESTful design considerationsSoftware design patterns and Object-Oriented development principles
Desirable ExperienceExperience implementing XIN in iOS applicationsExperience working within large-scale Australian Government ICT environments
